ENDC Receives Agenda Items from Ethiopian Diaspora in Sweden
Stockholm, Sweden (October 4, 2025) — The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission (ENDC) has successfully gathered agenda items from members of the Ethiopian diaspora residing in Sweden, Nordic countries, and other European states.
On October 4, the Commission hosted an event aimed at collecting these agenda items and facilitating the election of representatives to participate in the forthcoming National Dialogue Conference. This initiative involved extensive consultations with various groups, allowing for a comprehensive discussion to gather agenda items.
In her closing remarks, Deputy Chief Commissioner Hiroute Gebreseillasie expressed appreciation for the active engagement of the Ethiopian diaspora throughout the agenda collection process.
As part of the Commission’s established procedures, the items collected in Sweden will be consolidated with those gathered from other regions and platforms. Collectively, these contributions will serve as essential inputs for the upcoming National Dialogue Conference, ensuring that the voices of the diaspora are represented in this important national dialogue.
