Commissioner Zegeye Asfaw Accorded Official Farewell

The funeral ceremony of Commissioner Zegeye Asfaw was held on May 14, 2026, at Holy Trinity Cathedral in the presence of his family members, senior government officials, and staff members of the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission.

The ceremony was conducted with the official protocol accorded to national figures and public servants. Commissioner Zegeye had been serving at the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission since February 2021.

A seasoned lawyer and public servant, he passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 84.
