Skill-Based Training Strengthens National Dialogue Commission’s Mission

The Berghof Foundation, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has launched a three-day skill-based training program for members of the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission’s Advisory Committee.

In his opening remarks, Commissioner Melaku Woldemariam underscored that the training directly contributes to advancing the Commission’s strategic objectives. Moreover, he expressed appreciation to the organizing partners, noting that such initiatives enhance the Commission’s technical capacity and readiness for the upcoming national dialogue conference.

Professor Hans-Joachim Giessmann, Director Emeritus of the Berghof Foundation and Senior Advisor to its projects in Afghanistan and Ethiopia, reaffirmed the Foundation’s longstanding partnership with the Commission. He highlighted Berghof’s continued commitment to supporting Ethiopia’s inclusive dialogue efforts since the Commission’s establishment.
