Inclusive Participation Key to Successful Dialogue – ENDC Launches Forum in Desse

Augusst 22, 2025 (Desse) – The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission (ENDC) has officially launched the second round of consultation forums in Desse town, bringing together women, youth, and persons with disabilities from the Amhara region.

Opening the forum, Commissioner Melaku Weldemariam stressed that the national dialogue process can only succeed if all segments of society take part and contribute equally. He underscored the essential role of women, noting that their active participation and positive engagement are critical to the overall success of the dialogue.

The three-day forum will gather representatives of women, youth, and disability associations from the eastern zones of the Amhara region. The discussions aim to ensure inclusivity, amplify diverse voices, and strengthen the foundation for a meaningful national dialogue process.
