Chief Commissioner Calls for Shared Responsibility in Dialogue

At a press conference organized by the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission, Chief Commissioner Professor Mesfin Araya briefed the media on the Commission’s recent initiatives to hold dialogue forums in South Africa, Canada, and the United States.

According to his remarks, the forums were successfully concluded, and a significant number of agenda items were collected. He noted that many Ethiopians in the diaspora had engaged in structured discussions on Ethiopia’s national dialogue process.

Professor Mesfin emphasized that the process has involved Ethiopians at every level, from local woredas to the diaspora, reflecting broad national ownership of the dialogue.

He added that the upcoming Ethiopian year will be marked by key milestones and underlined that every Ethiopian has a responsibility to collaborate in ensuring the success of this historic process.
