Tigray Political Parties Affirm Belief in Dialogue to Resolve Regional Issues

The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission (ENDC) has conducted a consultative meeting with representatives from political parties in the Tigray region, marking a significant step toward greater inclusivity in the national dialogue process.
During the session, Chief Commissioner Professor Mesfin Araya outlined the Commission’s key activities to date. He emphasized that the national dialogue cannot be fully realized without Tigray’s active participation, adding that the Commission is undertaking various efforts to integrate the region into the process.
Representatives from the participating political parties expressed appreciation for the Commission’s outreach in Tigray. They voiced strong hope for the success of the national dialogue and pledged their support for its initiatives.
The parties stressed their conviction that dialogue is the only effective path to healing the nation’s current challenges, stating that Tigray’s issues can be addressed through constructive discussions.
The meeting included representatives from Arena Tigray, Baytona (National Congress of Great Tigray), Kancha Haki, Tigray Democratic Party, Tinsae Enderta, and Raya Rayuma parties.
