The Team of the Ethiopian National Dialogue commissioners had very fruitful discussions in its first visit to an institution on indigenous rights in Canada.

It is known by name Emily Charette, Executive Assistant to the Director General of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act Implementation Secretariat at the Ministry of Justice of Canada.

The delegation was briefed on the implementation strategies of the human rights of the indigenous people of Canada, which followed an extensive and country wide ‘national dialogue’ type activity involving 6500 interviews with general public.
